These terms apply to your use of this website. By using it, you accept these terms. The services we provide to clients are governed by the contract signed with each client and fall outside these terms.

The site is run by Ontia Labs. Contact: hello@arqmetrica.com.

Use of the content

The text, the PDF checklist, the design and the code of this site belong to Ontia Labs or are used with the permission of their owners.

You may read, download and print the content for your own use or within your company. You may quote short extracts, provided you name Ontia Labs as the source and link to the original page. Any other copying, distribution or commercial use needs our prior written permission.

The Ontia name and brand

The name Ontia Labs and its logo identify our company. You may not use them in a way that suggests a connection, partnership or endorsement from us without our prior written permission.

Content about regulation

The articles, the checklist and the other pages about the EU AI Act, the GDPR and other legislation are general information. They refer to the law in force on the date shown on each page and may go out of date when the law or its interpretation changes.

This content is not legal advice, and reading it does not make you our client. For a decision on a specific case, consult a lawyer and check the official texts published in the Official Journal of the European Union and the Diário da República.

The site contains links to third-party sites, such as EUR-Lex, software vendors' documentation and the Cal.com booking calendar. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or handling of data. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms and policies.

Acceptable use

When you use the site, you agree to:

  • give true details in forms and use only an email address that belongs to you;
  • not try to get around the site's request limits, security or restricted areas;
  • not use automated means that overload the site or disrupt how it works.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or remove pages or features without notice, for example for maintenance.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Portuguese law, Ontia Labs is not liable for loss arising from use of the site or from reliance on its content, or for interruptions, errors or technical faults. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow liability to be excluded or limited, in particular in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Data protection

How personal data is handled on the site is described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute about the site falls under the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to any mandatory rules that apply.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the latest update at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.

Governing version

These terms are available in Portuguese and English. If the two differ, the Portuguese version prevails.
